Post-Season Travel Lite Tryouts Moved to Sunday, May 7
Due to the heavy rain this weekend, the Post-Season Travel Lite tryouts have been post-poned to Sunday, May 7, at Oak field, 455 N. Clark Drive, Palatine, 60074.  Players should arrive in baseball attire (hat, shirt, baseball pants, belt, cleats, etc.). Below are the times by division.
  • 8U and 9U: 9:00-10:30am (check-in 8:45am
  • 10U and 11U: 11:00-12:30pm (check-in 10:45 am)
  • 12U: 1:00-2:30pm (check-in 12:45pm)
Travel Lite provides an opportunity for additional baseball each week. Practices and/or games will generally be held twice a week mainly on the PYB off days of Fridays and some Sundays. Games are held either against similar teams from neighboring towns or in tournaments that the team may enter.  The season runs from May through July.
In no way will Travel Lite interfere with the House team schedule as House will always take precedence thus the Friday and/or Sunday practice/game schedule.  The cost of the Travel Lite program is $350, which covers uniforms and all tournament and umpire fees.
